If you’re at least 18 years old and have a high school Diploma, GED, or high school transcripts, then you can train as a Carpenters’ Apprentice. Whether you have some experience or no experience, you are encouraged to apply. Apprentices learn their trade both in the classroom and on the job, all the while, earning a graduated wage and receiving the same great benefits of a journey-level Carpenter. The phrase “earn while you learn” really does apply.
Carpenter apprentices work right beside Jouneypersons on the job, then come to class on a regular schedule to complete their training. If you like the thought of starting your career, working on a jobsite with your hands, learning a trade, and experiencing different conditions, then contact us today!
Apprentices earn at least 60% of the Journeyman wage scale, and receive 100% of the healthcare and retirement benefits available. Carpenters Union Local 106 members earn top industry wages while practicing a career that you can raise a family on.
Take pride in helping to build the community, and know that you could be making wages and benefits, including retirement, totaling over $50 an hour within 4 years.
The Carpenters Apprenticeship program is open for anyone to apply. This program is non-discriminatory and welcomes applicants of all ages, race and gender. To find out more, contact us here.
